Pate Girls Secondary Laboratory Foundation Stone

 Governor Issa Abdallah Timami laid a laboratory’s foundation stone for the ongoing pate girls boarding secondary school on 23rd April 2017.

Since education is first a priority to the Governor, he is striving to ensure youths from Lamu acquire education as one of their right by ensuring all the requirement needed are available for the youths to enjoy the right, “we will do our best to ensure youths acquire education as one of their right”.

Together with Lamu county assembly speaker Mohammed hashim, Faza ward MCA Abbas Famau and C.E.E health Mohammed Kombo, during the meeting with pate residents; governor said the 5million cost project is expected to be complete by July this year.

Two youth groups; Pate Youth Education Initiative and Okoa Pate received working equipment from the governor. The pate youth education initiative received photocopy machine, printer and computer while okoa pate received wheelbarrows, brooms and rekeys.

Governor requested C.E.C health, Mohammed Kombo that 3 youths from pate; Muzafar Abdalla, Salim Hassan and Muhammad to be assigned cleaning job and they are to start by 1st may 2017.

He also insisted pate residents to live peaceful and not accept to be divided by political leaders.
