Lamu Governor Issa Timamy EGH, OGW on Monday launched the construction of Ndau walkway that will streach along the seafront to ease the movement of goods and people from and back to the village.

The construction of the walkway is part of the county’s effort to upgrade towns and villages and is expected to be completed by June 2025.

The UDA Deputy Party Leader remarked that the cabro walkway will stretch for over 350m long with shallow invert block drain to drain rain water storm back to the sea from the village.

The Governor is in a week-long Lamu East development tour and is accompanied by top county government officials and nominated MCA Hon. Medo.
