GOVERNOR ISSA TIMAMY ENGAGES KATSAKA KAIRU RESIDENTS DURING WITU DEVELOPMENT TOUR

Governor Issa Timamy on Friday visited Katsaka Kairu Village in Witu Ward, where he met with local residents as part of his ongoing three-day development tour in the area. The tour focuses on inspecting and commissioning county government projects as well as holding public barazas to engage directly with citizens.

‎The Governor assured residents that the county government will continue implementing development projects in the village. On the issue of land, he stated that the county will seek funding and engage ranch owners with the aim of purchasing land and resettling affected residents.

‎To support youth empowerment, the Governor donated jua kali equipment to a local group to promote self-employment and job creation. He also distributed football kits to the local team and pledged to install a high-mast security light in the village to enhance safety.

‎Governor Timamy was accompanied by Deputy Governor Dr. Mbarak Mohamed, County Secretary Amb. Ali Abbas, Chief of Staff Mr. Abdulnasir Issa, CECMs, Chief Officers, and other senior county officials.
