GOVERNOR TIMAMY HOSTS IFTAR DINNER FOR LAMU COMMUNITY

Issa Timamy on Saturday evening hosted a special Iftar dinner that brought together residents from different parts of Lamu County to mark the spirit of unity and togetherness during the holy month of Ramadan.

The gathering, held shortly after sunset, provided an opportunity for members of the Muslim community to break their fast together in a peaceful and reflective atmosphere. Religious leaders, community elders, youth and women leaders joined the Governor for the communal meal.

The event underscored the significance of Ramadan as a time for reflection, compassion and strengthening social bonds within the community.

Religious leaders present offered prayers for peace, prosperity and continued development in Lamu County while calling on residents to uphold unity and peaceful coexistence.

The Iftar dinner concluded with messages of goodwill and appreciation for the initiative that brought together residents from across the county to share in the blessings of Ramadan.
