GOVERNOR TIMAMY INSPECTS KIZINGITINI BRIDGE, PLEDGES RENOVATION

amu County Governor Issa Timamy on Sunday inspected the Kizingitini Bridge as part of his ongoing Lamu East development tour, pledging to fast-track its renovation to improve safety and connectivity for residents.

The Governor noted that the bridge plays a critical role in facilitating movement of people and goods, and its rehabilitation will enhance access to essential services and boost local economic activities in the area.

Addressing residents, Governor Timamy assured the community that his administration is committed to prioritizing key infrastructure projects that directly impact livelihoods and development across the county.

The Governor was accompanied by his Deputy, Dr. Mbarak Mohamed, members of the County Executive Committee, Chief Officers, and other senior county officials.
