GOVERNOR TIMAMY NOMINATES AISHA SHARIFF AS CECM FOR ICT, E-GOVERNMENT & PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

Lamu Governor Issa Timamy EGH, OGW on Wednesday nominated Mrs. Aisha Shariff from Kizingitini as CECM for ICT, E-Government, and Citizen Participation.

Mrs. Aisha’s nomination underscores Governor Timamy’s efforts to inject fresh talent and vision into his administration. Aisha brings a wealth of knowledge and a track record of effective leadership to Lamu County Government.

Speaking at the event where a new Deputy Governor was unveiled, Governor Timamy advised the new nominee once approved by the Assembly, to work diligently and deliver for the people of Lamu.

“Her strong foundation in Financial Management and strategic decision-making combined with experience in Technology and community engagement, positions her perfectly to enhance our public service decisions and ensure our citizens are aptly involved in decision-making processes” Governor Timamy stated.

Mrs. Aisha thanked Governor Timamy for the nomination and committed to work closely with her colleagues to deliver Governor Timamy’s manifesto to mwananchi.

Deputy Governor nominee Hon. James Gichu, County Secretary Amb. Ali Abbas, CoS Mr. Abdulnasir Issa, CECMs, Chief Officers, and members of the public were in attendance.
