Lamu Governor Issa Timany EGH, OGW has on Monday presided over the groundbreaking of the Siyu social hall in Lamu East.

Speaking at the social hall, the governor told residents about the importance of the hall and urged them to utilize it for the betterment of the community.

“This hall is meant to help you residents have your meetings in a good place without disturbance,” said the governor.

Lamu County’s commitment to developing social halls marks a significant step towards enhancing community engagement, promoting talent, and providing essential social care services.

The UDA Deputy Party Leader is in Lamu East to launch and inspect government projects and is accompanied by CECMs, chief officers, Faza MCA Hon. Simba and nominated MCA Hon. Medo.
