Lamu County was abuzz with energy as it prominently featured it’s endless investment potential at the Lamu, Tana River, Garissa, Wajir and Mandera County Investment Conference that was held on Thursday at Mokowe Lamu Maritime and Innovation Centre in Lamu County.

Governor Issa Timamy EGH, OGW led the charge, organizing a remarkable display showcasing the county’s progressive vision and commitment to innovation and growth. Lamu showcased it’s wealth in agriculture, tourism and blue economy sectors as well as it’s aspiration to establish special economic zones. Tana River, Garissa, Wajir and Mandera counties also exhibited their potential.

“We are on a path of transformation, creating opportunities for economic growth in Lamu” Governor Timamy emphasized.

The one day event was graced by Cabinet Secretary for Industry, Trade & Investment Hon. Rebecca Miano and was also attended by Governors from Tana River, Garissa Wajir and Mandera counties respectively.
