MAISHA MASHA COMMUNITY PRAISED GOVERNOR’S SUPPORT ON WATER, EDUCATION AND YOUTH EMPOWERMENT

Villagers in Maisha Masha have expressed appreciation to Governor Issa Timamy for committing to deliver free water to drought-prone areas through a county-supported water trucking initiative. The move aims to ease hardship and promote peaceful coexistence between farmers and herders.

Addressing land concerns, the governor stated that his administration will prioritize the settlement of local squatters through the relevant department. He also urged parents to take advantage of renewed scholarship and bursary programs by ensuring children are admitted to school. During the visit, he distributed carpentry tools and sports kits to youth groups. The governor is touring Witu Ward on a three-day development mission.
