LAMU DEPUTY GOVERNOR RECEIVED WITH CHEERS IN NDAU AS DEVELOPMENT TOUR CONTINUES

Lamu Deputy Governor Dr. Mbarak Mohamed was received with cheers in Ndau as the county’s development tour continued in Lamu East, with Governor H.E. Issa Timamy also present. The Deputy Governor, accompanied by the Governor, members of the County Executive Committee, and senior county officials, visited ongoing projects aimed at improving service delivery across key sectors.

The delegation inspected initiatives in water, health, infrastructure, and fisheries, while engaging residents on their priority needs and development concerns. Speaking to the community, Dr. Mbarak reaffirmed the county government’s commitment to inclusive development and the timely completion of projects that directly benefit local livelihoods.

Governor Timamy emphasized the importance of collaboration between county leadership, local administrators, and development partners to accelerate progress in Lamu East. Residents welcomed the leaders warmly, expressing optimism that continued engagement and oversight will translate into sustainable development and improved access to essential services.
