Lamu Governor H.E. Issa Timamy E.GH., O.G.W. has continued to meet different development partners to discuss how they can make the upcoming 22nd Lamu Cultural Festivals this year a success.

On Tuesday morning, the Governor held a consultative meeting with H.E. Abderrazzak Laassel, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Kenya, to discuss how they can work together during the upcoming international event that is slated for 28th-30th November 2024.

According to Governor Timamy, his administration will continue to work with development partners to ensure this year’s event is a success towards celebrating and promoting Lamu cultural heritage of the Lamu people.

Lamu Cultural Festival is an international annual event that takes place every November and showcases a variety of traditional activities, including music, dance, art, food, and sports.
