Lamu County Government through the Department of PSM has today hosted the team from Attai Consultancy sent by European Union to assess the ongoing CIVIC work in the County.

The team led by Mr. Henry Savier appreciated the County’s commitment under the leadership of H.E Governor Issa Timamy to support peace and unity between the community and security apparatus in the County. He further noted this relationship will foster peace and enhance information.

PSMA Deputy Director Mr. Shee Kupi took the team through the initiatives under the security-civilian support programs that are being undertaken by CIVIC Organization in partnership with Lamu County Government.

The European Union team also documented county recommendations that will see lamu County prosper in the Security aspect where our Community will coexist with the armed officers.

Also in attendance was Ms. Stella Muthoni and Mr. Giordana WeEme.
