Department of Medical Services led by CECM Health Dr. Mbarak Bahjaj, has signed an MoU with the Spanish organization Parblo Hortsmann, and Francisco Vitoria University to establish a modern Pediatrics (children) OUTPATIENT wing at King Fahd hospital.

The new and well equipped Pediatric Unit will be launched on 20th November 2023.

Speaking while witnessing the signing of the MoU, Lamu Governor HE Issa Timamy EGH, OGW applauded the partnership and promised to support the collaboration. He further echoed it’s importance in improving under-5 children health indicators in Lamu County.

In attendance during the signing of the MoU was Deputy Governor HE Raphael Munyua, County Secretary Amb. Ali Abbas, CECM Dr. Mbarak Bahjaj. The Pablo team was led by Madam Presidente Dr. Anna Singedorta and administrator Mr. Steven Odero.
