WE WILL SOLVE THE WATER PROBLEM: PROMISES Governor Timamy

Lamu Governor Issa Timamy has promised the residents of Ndau that the government is in a hurry to solve the water problem in Ndau village.

Speaking at the 10th graduation ceremony at Lamu Technical and Vocational Education and Training college, the Governor said they have already spoken with engineers to expedite repair of faulty water grinding machine. In addition, he said his government will pay for the transport of water from Kizingitini to Ndau.

Addressing the graduates, Governor Timamy congratulated them for qualifying and advising them to be a good example to the society.

“After qualification, you will begin the journey of socializing, and my request to you is to be a good example and also work on your profession properly,” said Governor Timamy, assuring that his government will continue to fund education in different universities and kindergartens.

Regarding the County development, the governor said his government will ensure that it has established a fish storing ice plant in Mokowe as one way of expanding Lamu’s blue economic market.

Governor Timamy had demonstrated with the minister of education Hon Sebastian Owanga, Minister of blue economy Hon Faiz Fankupi, Chief of public service Ambassador Ali Abbas, Administrator of the office of Governor Abdulnasir M. Issa, chief accounting officer of education hon hafswa difini, giz representative Mr brayan baya among others.
